The 2025 Cessnas 2 Oshkosh Mass Arrival flight was successful and the celebration at Cessna Base Camp is in full swing. The camaraderie among all our pilots relatives and friends is clearly evident, the unity amongst the group members is solid, and our resolution to continue our event for years to come is stronger than ever.
Our event this year brought ninety (90) aircraft in the main formation mass arrival flight. One (1) more aircraft had a mechanical issue after takeoff and was forced to return to Dodge County Airport for an emergency landing. The Skylane was the leading model again this year with thirty-three (33) aircraft. They were very closely followed by the Cardinal (C177) with twenty-nine (29) aircraft. The third model was the Skyhawk (C172) with eleven (11) aircraft and they were closely followed by the Centurion (C210) with nine (9) aircraft. Congratulations to each and every PIC/Owner who made the extra effort to make our 2025 Cessnas 2 Oshkosh Mass Arrival a great one!
Twenty-two (32) states and two (2) Canadian provinces were represented. Texas led the states with thirteen (13)) aircraft, followed by Virginia with eight (8), Florida with five (5) and Massachusetts, Washington and Ontario with (4). Over one-hundred-sixty (160) pilots, relatives and friends are enjoying breakfast at dawn every day over at Cessna BaseCamp in the North 40. Our traditional Sunday BBQ Dinner was very well attended and the door prizes were great. Most importantly, the company was the best each of us could wish for, and the reason we fly to Oshkosh every year.
